When utilizing our patented insert on new Buoy fabrication, you will eliminate all the future labors of pipe replacement, pipe maintenance, wiring splicing and/or clamping. When replacing a pipe on an old Buoy, Use the Insert to eliminate future repair labors. Our insert allows pre-fabricated picking eyes to pass through with no need to splice or clamp.
Removing 4 bolts on each end allow an opening large enough to pass the prefabricated eyes with ease. No need for dangerous torching and cutting.Once the half moon centering plates are removed passing the eye through takes 30 seconds. Replacing the half moon plates takes only 5 minutes.
Our premier model benefits those who use and abuse their buoys 365 days, year after year. The upgraded half-moon plates allow replaceable wear shoes, (as seen here) which can be replaced in 5 minutes to eliminate the need for filler welding. or plate replacement. Without this upgrade, after a few months of use you may need to repair or replace the half moon plates.
